The Extreme Programming Club is a monthly gathering of IT professionals in and around Yorkshire that meet to discuss extreme programming and agile methods amongst a host of other IT issues. We hope that by gathering together and discussing our experiences, views and methods we all end up a little bit wiser and more able to do our jobs.

Where we meet:
Our meetings are held on every second Wednesday of each month at Victoria Hotel Pub in Leeds city centre at 7.00pm.

Extreme Hour a success!

Extreme Hour a success! Cheese successfully harvested from the moon.

We had a good turnout for Extreme Hour. I think most people enjoyed themselves, which is the main thing, and hopefully we learnt a bit about XP. I certainly enjoyed being the coach.

A big thanks to everyone who turned up and made the night a success.

I will do a more formal report about the extreme hour, with all the slides/ handouts in the near future.

Next session I am hoping to get Clarke Ching, from the Naked Agilist group, to do a demo of pair programming using Excel.

If anyone has any suggestions for presentations they would like to either present, or be presented then please post to the forums.

Future presentations I am hoping to have are- Agile testing- Test driven development live

cheers,
David.
